We are located approximately one mile south east of Burton
Bradstock, Dorset on the B3157. The easiest way to reach us
is via the nearby town of Bridport. Read below for full directions
and additional information.
Specific Routes:
From London and the south east we recommend using the M3 towards
Southampton, following the signs for M27 West. Follow the
M27 until it becomes the A31, passing through Ringwood, Wimborne
(bypass), to Bere Regis. At Bere Regis head west on the A35,
round Dorchester (bypass) and towards Bridport. Once in Bridport
follow the signs to Burton Bradstock (B3157). Now see below
for our exact location.
From the north and north east we recommend travelling south
on the M5, leaving at Junction 25 (Taunton) and following
the A358 to Chard. From Chard head east on the A30 to Crewkerne,
then take the A356 east for a couple of miles where you need
to turn right onto the A3066, heading south towards Beaminster.
The A3066 passes through Beaminster and leads into Bridport.
From Bridport follow the signs to Burton Bradstock (B3157).
Now see below for our exact location.
From the west we recommend using the A30, then A35 from the
Exeter direction. Once in Bridport follow the signs to Burton
Bradstock (B3157). Now see below for our exact location.
From the south we recommend swimming trunks or preferably
a boat. Land at Cogden Beach and climb up the hill and across
the road to Cogden Farm.
Our exact location:
From Bridport, on the B3157, pass through Burton Bradstock.
When driving through Burton Bradstock, at the sharp left hand
bend you pass the petrol station on your right. Carry on out
of the 30mph, then 40mph limits into the 50mph limit and up
the hill.
You will pass a guest house on your right at the top of the
hill, shortly afterwards you will see the sea on your right.
The road leads into a so-called hidden dip (which it isn't
- it's a bend with restricted visibility) at the bottom of
which you will see a right turning to Cogden Beach. We are
located at the next turning left, on the other side of the
dip, at the top of the hill. Look out for the Chesil signs
at our entrance.
Follow the driveway down and take the right hand fork. You
will see our premises straight ahead of you, to the left of
the cottages.

Drivers Please Note:
If you are visiting us from the north, there are 20mph limits
at Misterton (near Crewkerne, A356) and through Beamintser
(A3066). Be careful entering the 30mph limit into Beaminster
and also the 30mph limit into Bridport as they occasionally
have speed traps.
If you are visiting us from London and the south east, be
careful along the Tolpuddle bypass (west of Bere Regis) because
the police have got some good hiding places and also use unmarked
cars. Take care around the Dorchester bypass for the same
reason.
If you are visiting us from the west, be careful around the
Charmouth bypass (A35, east of Honiton) as the road layout
encourages fast driving. Also beware of the two speed cameras
in Chideock, the last village before you reach Bridport.
